Lauryn Ipsum is an illustrator and graphic designer, born and based in Los Angeles. She has her B.A. in Fine Arts with a Graphic Design emphasis from The University of Southern California.
Ipsum's fascination with art began at a young age and only grew as time went on, eventually becoming a defining factor in her life. After her college typography professor gave her a crash course in book-binding, she immediately became obsessed with everything and anything that goes into the making of books—eventually going on to specialize in book design.
While illustration and graphic design are her primary vocations, Ipsum is also a professionally trained sideshow performer. She can kern letters to perfection and walk on glass (though not at the same time). She can usually be found with ink stained fingers, trying (often unsuccessfully) to find someone who will talk to her about typography, folklore, or medical history.
