About

Lauryn Soorani, professionally known as Lauryn Ipsum is an Eisner Award-nominated graphic designer and artist, working in both digital and traditional media. She has an insatiable love of typography and illustration—regularly combining the two in the creation of eye-catching designs.

She specializes in book design and all aspects of the physical process of book creation. From meticulously crafting print and ebooks to delving into the art of bookbinding, she ensures that every aspect of a book's presentation is flawlessly executed.

Educated at The University of Southern California, Ipsum holds a B.A. in Fine Arts with a Graphic Design emphasis. Additionally, she has pursued training as a sideshow performer, showcasing her diverse range of talents. While she can kern letters to perfection and deftly escape from a straight jacket, it is recommended that these tasks are not requested simultaneously.

During her leisure time, you’ll likely find her working on a puzzle, baking, practicing photography, or engrossed in passionate discussions regarding typography, folklore, or medical history.
