Octobet

A sculptural alphabet created from individually photographed octopus tentacles, arranged to form a full character set. Each letter was composed by physically manipulating the tentacles, capturing their shape and gesture through high-resolution photography.

Featured in the book Type Object by Barbra Brownie, Octobet explores the boundary between typography and organic form—a study in texture, movement, and unexpected legibility.
