Eternal Blue: A SPIRITBOX Graphic Novel

Role: Design direction, cover and interior design, and slipcase design

Cover and Slipcase Design: I designed the deluxe slipcase and the full book cover, including the front, spine, and back. I developed the cover layout around artwork by Justin Cherry and created a custom title treatment to complement its ethereal quality. For the slipcase, I combined and layered cloud textures from found imagery to match the mood and color palette of the cover.

• Interior Design: I designed the interior pages and endpapers, using elements from the cover to create a consistent visual language throughout the book. I adapted black-and-white linework into full-bleed compositions and incorporated the title typography across the interior. For the chapter breaks, I reconstructed and expanded the cloudscape from Justin Cherry’s cover using compositing, blending, and cloning techniques so the new artwork would match the original.
